You know, the kind that your mind rightly says. I've not had any fear of anxiety for over a week! I've had times where something made me anxious but that's what I would say is normal "healthy" anxiety. My mind is totally changed!! Dan was absolutely amazing! He wouldn't like me saying this but he is a wizard! I sat in my first session over a week ago and came out feeling quite good. I can honestly say I was sceptical about hypnotherapy and couldn't see how it would help. I felt like I'd tried everything including homeopathy which gave me some good results for a few days here and there! Mindfulness which helped me understand the anxiety and sit with it. I look back and can't really remember a day that wasn't filled with anxiety or a feeling of imminent catastrophe. It really did start to take over my life. I have been to the GP who offered anxiety tablets, these only made me feel worse. It felt like it had ruined every day of my life and didn't look like stopping. I started to suffer from anxiety attacks about 12 months ago. I feel empowered and in control now, and that is all thanks to Daniel giving me the tools to do this - I could not recommend Daniel's services enough, and would have happily paid 10 times the cost of his sessions if it means I have the results I do now. The result of all this (whether some people see it as mumbo jumbo or not), is that I haven't felt since my first session the feelings of anxiety anymore, that were starting to consume my life. The first 3/4's of the first session is conversational and understand through examples your own situation, and then the last quarter is the actual hypnotherapy which helps embed that learning and the feelings of strength and mindfulness that we all have inside of us. And then you speak about strategies of how you have coped with those well in the past, he explains why you have reacted how you have both mentally and physically with anxiety, and then you marry up solutions that you have already formed in your life previously to deal once and for all with never feeling the same way again. Using cognitive behavioural therapy he explained scenario after scenario of examples of relatable situations from life, where you could understand almost in light-bulb moments of how they are the same as the situations you have faced. And because the recommendation was so positive, I dispelled any stigma I had in my mind regarding what hypnotherapy may involve etc and I committed to calling Daniel and organising sessions.įrom first meeting Daniel he made me feel at ease in his company. I had been recommended to contact Daniel regarding issues I had been experiencing with anxiety for around 9-10 months, which had affected many aspects of my every day life.
